Rassambek Akhmatov
Rassambek Akhmatov (born 31 May 1996) is a Chechen-born-French footballer who’s playing for COMUNA RECEA in the LIGA 2 Romania.

Rassambek has arrived in France in 2003, with his family after running away the war in Chechnya. He moved to Haguenau in 2005 and discovered a passion for football at age of 10, at the city stadium in small district in Haguenau before signing his first license at 11 at FR Haguenau. He will subsequently play in several Alsacian clubs, before joining FCSR Obernai with the senior team. Then with determination he tried his luck during a detection organized in Paris by an American team, And out of the 800 players, he is one of the 10 selected to spend 2 weeks of testing in Miami. He finally joined the FC Miami City team which then played in the American 3rd division. He played one season with the team but got injured two weeks before the start of the playsoff, which was a crucial period to get noticed by professional teams. He then had to return to France where he signed with Vauban, until February 2018, when the Miami club recalled him and he returned to the United States. He played until the end of the season and was noticed by Swope Park Rangers (second division), where he signed a first professional contract in the summer of 2018.
He started playing right after his signature and after a successful season, his club qualified for the conference semifinals and faced Phoenix Rising, with a certain Didier Drogba ... His first season with the pros ended with 13 games played on 13 , and 2 assists. He is logically offered an extension, so he returns for an additional season in Kansas City. After two full season in Kansas City he goes back to France. Then with the pandemic and football stopped, he spent several months without a club, before signing to Comuna Recea in the Romanian second division.
