Reinaldo Marcus Green
Reinaldo Marcus Green is an American director, producer and writer, best known for his 2018 film, Monsters and Men, which won the Special Jury Award for Outstanding First Feature at the Sundance Film Festival.[1][2][3] His next project is Good Joe Bell, produced by Jake Gyllenhaal and Cary Joji Fukunaga, and starring Mark Wahlberg, Connie Britton, and Maxwell Jenkins.[1] In June 2019, it was announced he would be directing a biopic entitled King Richard, about tennis coach and father of American tennis players Venus and Serena Williams, Richard Williams, starring Will Smith in the titular role.[1][4] Green also directed the first three episodes of season three of the British television crime drama series, Top Boy.[1] He went to Port Richmond High School[5] in Staten Island, New York before attending NYU Tisch School of the Arts.[6]
