The 12" single of "Rock 'N' Roll to the Rescue" featured an extended remix of the song which has a lot more keyboard, heavier drum beat, and when Brian sings the verses, the music is led by the bass guitar, creating a more pop sounding version of the song, than mainstream rock like the album and 7" version. Brian Wilson is credited as co-producer, even though it does not list it on the single nor the album.
