Web series
Rudy Jahchan first became known under the pseudonym “Zod”, the man behind the scenes of sexy video blog Kitkast. It debuted on October 15, 2005, and the show's old-fashion news reel and pin-up appeal resulted in an average 40,000 weekly viewers by the end of its first season run in March 2006. Although it had a short run, Kitkast was mentioned in many newspapers and magazines worldwide including the May 4, 2006 issue of Rolling Stone.[1]
He next launched Galacticast as a weekly science fiction parody show on May 8, 2006. Becoming known for its Robot Chicken like fan-based humor, sharp editing, and recreation of Hollywood effects with minimal to no budget, it has grown a loyal following of over a quarter million viewers a month. Highlighted by the BBC,[2] the Montreal Gazette,[3] and the Hollywood Reporter,[4] on November 5, 2006 Galacticast won 5 Vloggies including the People’s Choice for Best Special Effects, Best Entertainment, and Best Website.[5]
His most recent project was A Comicbook Orange, a review show for comics and graphic novels.
