Ruturaj Gaikwad

Ruturaj Gaikwad (born 31 January 1997) is an Indian cricketer.[1][2] He made his first-class debut for Maharashtra in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy on 6 October 2016.[3] He made his Twenty20 debut for Maharashtra in the 2016–17 Inter State Twenty-20 Tournament on 2 February 2017.[4] He made his List A debut for Maharashtra in the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 25 February 2017.[5]

In October 2018, he was named in India B's squad for the 2018–19 Deodhar Trophy.[6] In December 2018, he was named in India's team for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.[7]

In December 2018, he was bought by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League.[8][9] In June 2019, he scored 187 not out for India A against Sri Lanka A.[10] In August 2019, he was named in the India Blue team's squad for the 2019–20 Duleep Trophy.[11][12] In October 2019, he was named in India B's squad for the 2019–20 Deodhar Trophy.[13] In August 2020, Gaikwad tested positive for COVID-19 before the start of the 2020 Indian Premier League.[14]
