Ryan Thompson (pitcher)
Ryan Scott Thompson (born June 26, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball (MLB). Thompson is a submarine-style pitcher.

Career
Thompson attended Cascade High School in Turner, Oregon and played college baseball at Chemeketa Community College and Campbell University. In 2013, he briefly played collegiate summer baseball for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod Baseball League.[1]
Houston Astros
He was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 23rd round of the 2014 Major League Baseball Draft.[2] He played in the Astros system through 2017, as an injury kept him out in 2018, and reached as high as the AAA Fresno Grizzlies.
