Samuel Adegboyega University

Samuel Adegboyega University (SAU) is located in Ogwa, Edo State, Nigeria. It was founded by The Apostolic Church Nigeria and named after Pastor Samuel Adegboyega.[1][2] The institution received licence from the National Universities Commission on Monday March 7, 2011 as the 45th Private and 117th overall in the Nigerian university system.[3] In the spring of 2015, there were rumors that the university was listed for de-accreditation, though this was denied by the university's vice-chancellor.[4] In August 2015, however, the commission announced that the university had failed to meet the benchmarks set to achieve accreditation.[5][6][7] In
