Sandhya Roy
Sandhya Roy is an Indian actress and politician.[1] She is known for her work in Bengali cinema. She is the recipient of BFJA Award for three times.[2] and one Filmfare Awards East best actress for Ganadevata.

Roy made her cinematic debut with Rajen Tarafdar's Antariksha (1957).[3]
Political career
In 2014, she contested a seat in the Lok Sabha election for the All India Trinamul Congress and won the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Medinipur constituency and became a member of the Parliament of India.[4]
