Sarah P. L. Wolffe, Lady Wolffe
Sarah Wolffe, Lady Wolffe, is a judge of the Court of Session.[1]
Wolffe emigrated to the United Kingdom from the United States in 1987.
She then qualified as a solicitor in 1992. She became a member of the Faculty of Advocates in 1994. From 1996 to 2008 Wolffe was standing junior counsel to the Department of Trade and Industry and its successor departments. Since 2007 she acted as an ad hoc advocate depute. In 2008 she was appointed a Queen's Counsel.
Wolffe became a member of the Outer House in March 2014.
In 1987 she married James Wolffe QC, the Lord Advocate since 2016. They have two sons.[2]
