Sclerophrys taiensis

Sclerophrys taiensis is a species of toad endemic to Ivory Coast. It is only known from the Taï National Park, although it is likely that its range extends to the adjacent Liberia.[2]

It is listed as an Endangered species due to a restricted range of probably less than 10 km². All individuals surveyed are in a single sub-population. Major threats to this species exist because of ongoing forest loss in south-western Côte d'Ivoire, due to agriculture, timber extraction, and human settlement. Further work is required to determine its natural history, population distribution, range limits, and population status.[1]
