Scrobipalpa nigrigrisea

Scrobipalpa nigrigrisea is a moth in the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Oleksiy V. Bidzilya and Hou-Hun Li in 2010. It is found in Tibet.[1]

The wingspan is about 13 mm (0.51 in). The forewings are grey, with two indistinct black dots in the middle of the cell, and a black diffused spot at two-thirds near the dorsal margin. The hindwings are light grey. Adults are on wing in June and July.

Etymology

The species name refers to the blackish-grey forewings and is derived from the Latin prefix nigr- (meaning black) and Latin griseus (meaning grey).[2]
