Silver Bell (album)
Silver Bell is an album by American singer-songwriter Patty Griffin, released on October 8, 2013, by A&M Records through UMe.[2] The album was originally recorded in New Orleans, Louisiana at Kingsway Studio, owned by producer Daniel Lanois, in 2000 as the follow-up to Griffin's second album Flaming Red.

Production
During the original recording sessions in 2000 at Daniel Lanois' Kingsway Studio in New Orleans, Griffin recorded fourteen tracks, and was accompanied by Doug Lancio on guitar, John Deaderick on keyboards, Frank Swart on bass, and Billy Beard handling percussion. On the track "Truth #2", Emmylou Harris contributed harmony vocals with Griffin.[3] The album was newly mixed by producer Glyn Johns for release in 2013.[4]
Commercial performance
The album debuted at No. 64 on the Billboard 200,[5] and No. 5 on Top Folk Albums on the first week of its release.[6] The album has sold 21,000 copies in the United States as of September 2015.[7]
