Waltert has career-high WTA rankings of 275 in singles, achieved on 25 November 2019, and 379 in doubles, reached on 16 March 2020. She has won four singles titles and three doubles titles on the ITF Circuit so far.
On the ITF Junior Circuit, Waltert had a career-high ranking of 9, achieved on 22 January 2018. She was a semifinalist at the 2017 Wimbledon Championships girl's singles, where she lost to Ann Li.
