Stripe-crowned sparrow
The stripe-crowned sparrow (Arremon dorbignii), also known as the moss-backed sparrow, is a species of bird in the family Passerellidae, the New World sparrows. It is found in South America, where it is found on the eastern slope of the Andes from western Bolivia south to northwestern Argentina. It was formerly considered a subspecies of saffron-billed sparrow (A. flavirostris) and some authorities such as the Clements Checklist still consider it as such, but Birdlife International and the International Ornithological Congress consider it a distinct species.[2][3]
