Týniště (Plzeň-South District)
Týniště is a small municipality located in the Plzeň Region 36 kilometres (23 miles) to the south of the city of Plzeň on the regional route 230 (Czech: krajská silnice 230). Until 1990 it was a part of the Horšice municipality.

The village was firstly mentioned in 1379. In the 16th century it was known as Pustá ("empty" or "deserted").
Luh (pron: /lυx/) is a part of the municipality which is located 2 kilometres (1.25 miles) to the west of Týniště. It has a sawmill on the Zlatý potok stream (Golden Stream) and a hunting lodge.
