The Knoll
The Knoll (77°31′S 169°21′E) is a snow-free knoll, 370 metres (1,200 ft) high, surmounting Cape Crozier at the eastern extremity of Ross Island, Antarctica. It was discovered and named by the British National Antarctic Expedition, 1901–04, under Robert Falcon Scott.[1]
