The Satyr and the Peasant (Jordaens)
The Satyr and the Peasant is one of seven paintings by the Flemish painter Jacob Jordaens on the tale of the Satyr and the Peasant from Aesop's Fables. One version is now in the Royal Museum of Fine Arts of Belgium in Brussels,[1] another in the Alte Pinakothek in Munich.[2]
