The Companion Chronicles "talking books" are each narrated by one of the Doctor's companions and feature a second, guest-star voice along with music and sound effects.

This is the first (and, to date, only) Companion Chronicles story to feature only one actor.
Critical reception
Doctor Who Magazine reviewer Matt Michael praised the play, although noting that it was "robust" and "without many fireworks". [1]
