Tirupati International Cricket Stadium
Tirupati International Cricket Stadium is a proposed cricket stadium in the Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.[1][2] The foundation of the stadium was laid by then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Kiran Kumar Reddy who also sanctioned ₹ 30 crore for the stadium and land of 30 acres is located in Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park.[3] The project came into picture when government decided to have another international venue in the region but some activists may obstruct for proceedings as Tirupati is always crowded and construction of the stadium was stopped after National Green Tribunal stated the stadium can disturb the ecology of the area.[4][5][6]
