The school's catchment area includes the communities of Uddingston, Bothwell, Birkenshaw, Tannochside, Viewpark and recently parts of Newton in Cambuslang.[3][4]
The school's roll is approximately 1175 pupils as of September 2013, with approximately 90 teaching staff (FTE).
