Velké Pavlovice
Velké Pavlovice (German: Groß Pawlowitz) is a small town in Břeclav District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 3,100 inhabitants. The region of Velké Pavlovice is famous for its vineyards.

History
Written sources began in 1252, when this villa was donated to the property of a new founded Cistercian abbey in Žďár nad Sázavou. Gothic St. Catherine Church was destroyed during Thirty Years' War. Baroque Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary which dominates the town until today was built afterwards.
