Washington Township is one of seventeen townships in Kosciusko County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 2,996 and it contained 1,335 housing units.[3]

History
Washington Township was organized in 1838.[4]
The Robert Orr Polygonal Barn was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.[5]
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 35.43 square miles (91.8 km2), of which 34.86 square miles (90.3 km2) (or 98.39%) is land and 0.58 square miles (1.5 km2) (or 1.64%) is water.[3]
