Winchester Rural School is a year 1-6 primary school with a roll of 147 students.[2]
Waihi Boys' Preparatory School is an Anglican private year 1-8 full primary boys' school with a roll of 95 students.[2] The school was established in 1907 and is governed by the Waihi School Trust.[3]
