Yaya Soumaré (born 23 June 2000) is a French professional football player who plays for Olympique Lyonnais.[1]

Early life
Born in Vénissieux,[2] a town in Lyon Metropolis, Soumaré first played with AS Minguettes, a club from Vénissieux, before joining Olympique Lyonnais in 2015, signing his first professional contract there in 2020.[3][4]
Club career
Yaya Soumaré made his professional debut for Lyon on 23 December 2020, coming on as a late substitute for Tino Kadewere in Lyon's 3–0 Ligue 1 home win against Nantes.[5]
International career
Born in France, Soumaré is of Malian descent.[6] He is a youth international for France.[3]
