Yunnanilus pulcherrimus
Yunnanilus pulcherrimus is a species of ray-finned fish, a stone loach, in the genus Yunnanilus. It is found in the Hongshuihe River, part of the Xijiang River basin in China,[1] with the type locality in Du'an County, Guangxi.[2] The specific name pulcherrimus means most beautiful and is a reference to the “unique” banded color pattern ofthin vertical stripes crossing a wide lateral band, when compared to related species.[3]
