Notes:
- Originally, the 16th-placed Eredivisie team would play in a promotion-relegation play-off at the end of the season with a team from the Eerste Divisie to decide whether they would remain in the Eredivisie for the 2020–21 season, but the play-off was cancelled and the 16th-placed team remained in the Eredivisie.
