Preseason
The Steelers' preseason opponents and schedule will be announced in the spring. The Steelers would have played the Dallas Cowboys in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, during the 2020 preseason, and the Steelers were to be represented by former head coach Bill Cowher and safeties Troy Polamalu and Donnie Shell.[1] However, the game and the annual Hall of Fame enshrinement were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the Hall of Fame game between the Steelers and Cowboys was rescheduled for 2021.[2]
Regular season
2021 opponents
Listed below are the Steelers' opponents for 2021. The length of the season is contingent on whether the league expands the regular season from 16 to 17 games. If this happens, a 17th game would match the Steelers against a interconference opponent from one of the three divisions from the NFC that the Steelers are not scheduled to play in 2021, which will be based on division placement from 2020.[3]
Exact dates and times will be announced in the spring.
