Andreas Stamatiadis
Andreas Stamatiadis (Greek: Ανδρέας Σταματιάδης; born 16 August 1935) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a right winger for AEK Athens from 1950 until 1969, captain of the team in the latter years. During his career, he made 267 league appearances and scored 60 goals for AEK Athens.[1] He was also capped 8 times by the Greece national football team[2] and was a regular of the All-Athens selections during the 1950s.

After his playing days were over, Stamatiadis coached various clubs.[3]
Club career
In 1950, at the age of 15, Stamatiadis joined AEK Athens, where he remained for 19 consecutive years, until 1969 when he retired from active action at the age of 33.
International career
Stamatiadis had a total of 8 participations with the Greece national football team. He made his debut on 8 March 1954 in a 2–0 away victory over Israel in the 1954 World Cup qualifiers. His last participation was on 27 November 1963 when Greece faced Cyprus away in a friendly match.
Managerial career
The first team undertaken by Andreas Stamatiadis was Rodos, in the period 1969–70. During the five years 1974-1979 he worked as an assistant coach at AEK, first with Francis Fadronk and then with Zlatko Čajkovski and Ferenc Puskás, while twice he had to offer his services as the first. The start was made in 1977 for two games (3rd-4th), as well as for 11 games (24th-34th) before the end of the 1978–79 season, when he replaced Pushkas in the technical leadership of the club, to keep the team at the top. , something that was finally achieved, while at the same time reaching the cup final. From time to time he worked in the infrastructure departments of AEK, while for several years he was the Director of these departments, a position from which he left in 2013, when he was replaced by Akis Zikos.
In 1979, after his tenure at AEK, he took over as coach of Atromitos Athens, with which he secured the title in the Beta Ethniki, while at the end of the 1979–80 season he sat for the first time on the bench of Egaleo in the Second National, maintaining the in the category. The following year (1980–81), he claimed with "City" the promotion to the A 'Ethniki, which he did not secure in the end, as he was defeated by Rodos of Michalis Bellis in a draw, at the stadium of Heraklion, Crete, with 1–0 in extension (June 1981). In the period 1981-82 Stamatiadis was the coach of Diagoras Rodos, but in the summer of 1982 he returned to Egaleo. The team from the western suburbs won the last championship of the South (1982–83) and was promoted to the First National. He also worked in the associations of Rodos, Trikala, Lamia, Anagennisi Karditsa, Chalkida and Acharnaikos.
He also coached the national team of Hope for six years (1986–1992), which in 1988 led to the final of the European Championship of Hope, against France.
