Binibining Pilipinas 2013

Binibining Pilipinas 2013 was the 50th edition of the Binibining Pilipinas pageant billed as Binibining Pilipinas Gold. It was held on April 14, 2013 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines.[4] Fifty candidates participated in the 2013 pageant, which was aired by ABS-CBN and The Filipino Channel.[1][5]

At the end of the event, Janine Mari Tugonon crowned Ariella Arida as Miss Universe Philippines 2013, Nicole Cassandra Schmitz crowned Bea Rose Santiago as Binibining Pilipinas International 2013, and Katrina Jayne Dimaranan crowned Joanna Cindy Veron Miranda as Binibining Pilipinas Tourism 2013. A new minor title, Binibining Pilipinas Supranational 2013, was awarded by Ellaine Kay Moll to Mutya Johanna Datul. The 1st Runner-Up was Pia Wurtzbach.[6][7][8]

A pre-pageant primer, called The Golden Road to the Crown on ABS-CBN's Sunday's Best, was aired last April 7, 2013.[9][10]

It was also one of the most successful batches in Binibining Pilipinas history, as it produced 4 international titleholders: Miss International 2013, Miss Supranational 2013, Miss Tourism International 2013, and Miss Universe 2015.
