Chrysolina herbacea
Chrysolina herbacea, also known as the mint leaf beetle,[1][2] or green mint beetle (in the UK),[3] is a species of beetle in the family Chrysomelidae.

Description
The species is green, with black legs and antennae. Females can range in colour from green to purplish grey.[4] It can be 8-9 mm long and has black coloured larvae,[3] which also feed on mint leaves.[2]
Visually it may be confused with the much rarer tansy beetle (Chrysolina graminis).[5]
Distribution
It can be found in Germany, Italy, Portugal,[6] Great Britain,[3] the Caucasus, Turkey, and western Central Asia.[4]
