The wingspan is 22–24 mm (0.87–0.94 in). The forewings are overlaid with black markings on a white background. There is a long, rather broad, bisinuate (having two wavy edges) black stripe running from the base of the costa towards the apex into the cilia, consisting of partly or fully fused, elongate spots. The hindwings are grey with black costal brushes.[1]
