It is found in Romania, Bulgaria, the Republic of Macedonia, Greece, Russia,[2] Asia Minor, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan[1] and Armenia.[3] It has been recorded from Malta, but this is a misidentification of Euclasta varii.[4]
