Fernando Medina (politician)
Fernando Medina Maciel Almeida Correia (born 10 March 1973) is a Portuguese economist and politician. He is the current mayor of Lisbon, in office since António Costa's resignation.[1][2]

Biography
He was born in Porto to Edgar Marciel Almeida Correia and Maria Helena Guimarães Medina.
Medina has a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto. He was the President of the Faculty's Students' Union and then the President of the Students' Unions' Federation of Porto. He also has a master's degree in Economic Sociology from the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão.[1]
