Freshwater Point is a coastal locality in the Mackay Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census, Freshwater Point had a population of 135 people.[1]

History
The locality was named and bounded on 4 June 1999.[2] It presumably takes its name from the geographic feature of the same name.[3]
