Lecithocera barbata

Lecithocera barbata is a moth in the family Lecithoceridae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1933. It is found in the former Orientale Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.[1][2]

The wingspan is about 14 mm. The forewings are dark purple grey with a semi-oval pale ochreous-yellow spot on the costa about two-thirds. The hindwings are grey.[3]
