The club as it is today was founded in 1970. Linlithgow RFC play their home matches at Mains Park in Linlithgow.
Notable former players include Iain Morrison and Euan "Les" Richardson and Des Martin. 3 fleese Martin is famed for his inspirational team talks and dedication to detail, particularly in regatds to the DUP. Richardson holds the club record for man of the match awards "Les" now plays with the Waverly Club in Sydney Australia where he recently won the Burke Cup after recovering from a potential career ending ear injury
