List of Ministers of Infrastructure of the Netherlands
The Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management (Dutch: Minister van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat) is the head of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management and a member of the Cabinet and the Council of Ministers. The current Minister is Cora van Nieuwenhuizen of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) who has been in office since 26 October 2017. Regularly a State Secretary is assigned to the Ministry who is tasked with specific portfolios. The current State Secretary is Stientje van Veldhoven of the Democrats 66 (D66) who has been in office since 14 April 2020.[1]

Since 1982 there has been an informal tradition with women serving as Transport Ministers: Neelie Kroes (1982–1989), Hanja Maij-Weggen (1989–1994), Annemarie Jorritsma (1994–1998), Tineke Netelenbos (1998–2002), Karla Peijs (2003–2007), Melanie Schultz van Haegen (2010–2017) and Cora van Nieuwenhuizen (since 2017) (safe for two exceptions 2002–2003 and 2007–2010) and not counting acting Ministers.[2]
