The Australian Ambassador to Switzerland is the Australian Government's foremost diplomatic representative in Switzerland. The Ambassador, currently resident in Germany, has the rank and status of an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. Prior to 1993 there was a resident ambassador, in Bern.[1]
