List of international cricket five-wicket hauls on Bangladeshi cricket grounds

Bangladesh played its first Test match in November 2000 against India in Dhaka, becoming the tenth Test-playing nation. The country's first international one-day matches were played in the 1979 ICC Trophy in England and it played its first One Day International match in 1986, a fixture against Pakistan in the Asia Cup.

In cricket, a five-wicket haul (also known as a "five-for" or "fifer") refers to a bowler taking five or more wickets in a single innings. This is regarded as a notable achievement.[1] The following list is about the five-wicket hauls taken on cricket grounds in Bangladesh in Test matches, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 International matches.

The first international matches played on grounds in Bangladesh were played before the country declared independence and while it was still East Pakistan. Seven Test matches were played by Pakistan in Dhaka between 1955 and 1969. These matches are included in the list of five-wicket hauls taken at Bangabandhu National Stadium.

Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka

Bangabandhu National Stadium was first used by Pakistan as a home ground in 1955. It is the only ground in Bangladesh, which became an independent country in 1972, which was used by Pakistan for international matches when Bangladesh, as East Pakistan, was a constituent part of the country.
