Luís Fernandes (footballer)
Luís Sergjo Fernandes (Arabic: لويس سيرجيو فرنانديز; born 1 March 1971) is a former footballer who played as a midfielder.

Born in Brazil, Fernandes is of Lebanese origin;[1] he represented Lebanon at the 2000 AFC Asian Cup. He also played for Lebanese Premier League side Shabab Sahel for six years, between 2000 and 2006.[2]
International career
Fernandes represented the Lebanon national team at the 2000 AFC Asian Cup. He scored in the 82nd minute against Thailand, equalizing to a Thai goal scored in the 57th minute by Sakesan Pituratana.
At the 2000 AFC Asian Cup in Lebanon, he was one of five Lebanese Brazilians in the squad. The other four were Marcilio, Gilberto, Jadir, and Newton.
