Members of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly who served in the 56th Parliament held their seats from 2015 to 2019. They were as elected at the 2015 state election and at by-elections.[1][2] The Speaker was Shelley Hancock.[3]</ref>
- The changes to the composition of the house, in chronological order, were Brookes resigned from Liberals, Burney resigned, Gee resigned, Hay resigned, Baird resigned, Smith resigned, Skinner resigned, Robertson resigned, Hidgjinson resigned, Piccoli resigned, Maguire resigned, and Rowell resigned.<ref name=':12' group='lower-alpha'>On 17 December 2018, the member for Wollondilly, Jai Rowell, resigned. No by-election was held
