Otterøy Church
Otterøy Church (Norwegian: Otterøy kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Namsos municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Skomsvoll on the island of Otterøya. It is the church for the Otterøy parish which is part of the Namdal prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was built in an octagonal shape with a style reminiscent of the old stave churches. The building was constructed in 1858 by the architect Christian Heinrich Grosch. The church seats about 350 people.[1][2][3]
