Písečná (Frýdek-Místek District)
Písečná (Polish: Pioseczna is a municipality and village in Frýdek-Místek District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,100 inhabitants. Polish minority makes up 18.6% of the population.[2] It lies in the historical region of Cieszyn Silesia on the foothills of the Silesian Beskids mountain range.

History
The first written mention is from 1446. Until 2000 it was administratively part of Jablunkov.[3]
