Sam C. Barrett

Sam C. Barrett is a United States Air Force Lieutenant general currently serving as the commander of the Eighteenth Air Force.[1][2] Prior to serving in his current position, he was the Director of Operations, Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration of the Air Force Materiel Command.[2]

The United States Senate confirmed his promotion to lieutenant general and nomination to become the Director for Logistics of the Joint Staff, replacing Lieutenant General Giovanni K. Tuck whom whe also succeeded as 18th Air Force commander.[3][4]
