St Andrew the Apostle Greek Orthodox School
St Andrew the Apostle Greek Orthodox School is the only state-funded Greek Orthodox secondary school in Britain.[1] The school is named after St Andrew the Apostle. It is located in the Brunswick Park area of the London Borough of Barnet, and is also expected to serve families in the London Borough of Enfield, the Haringey, Hertfordshire and the wider Greek Orthodox community in North London.[2][3][4]

The headteacher was originally Mr Robert Ahearn,[5] but is now Mrs Indira Warwick.[6]
The school has been established jointly by Russell Education Trust, the Greek Orthodox Church and the Classical Education Trust.[7]
History
The school opened in September 2013 with its first cohort of Year 7 students, and is located at North London Business Park.
In 2015, the school was reported to receive £18 507 in state funding for each of its 73 pupils, compared to a national average of £4 767 per local authority pupil, making it the highest amount of funding per pupil in England.[8]
The students completed their first GCSEs in 2018.[9] It is currently located in temporary accommodation but in 2020 it was announced that a new purpose-built building would be built in the same area.[10]
