Straža pri Moravčah

Straža pri Moravčah (pronounced [ˈstɾaːʒa pɾi mɔˈɾaːu̯tʃax]) is a small settlement east of Moravče in central Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola. It is now included with the rest of the Municipality of Moravče in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.[2]

Name

Straža pri Moravčah was attested in historical sources as Wart in 1361.[3]

History

The settlement was separated from Drtija in 1985.[4]
