Tamoi Tengah
Tamoi Tengah is a small neighbourhood in Kampong Ayer, the riverine stilt settlement in Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital of Brunei. It is officially a village subdivision under Tamoi, a mukim (subdistrict) of Brunei-Muara District. The postcode for Tamoi Tengah is BL2112.[2][3]

Name
As a village subdivision, Tamoi is officially known in Malay as Kampung Tamoi Tengah (Kampung is sometimes spelt as Kampong),[2] which literally means 'Tamoi Tengah Village'.
Tamoi Tengah and the neighbouring Tamoi Ujong are often collectively known as Tamoi.[4][5]
Administration
The community of Tamoi Tengah is jointly administered with Tamoi Ujong under one village head (Malay: ketua kampung) and the incumbent is Tarif bin Asgar.[1][5]
