Templin, Queensland
Templin is a rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census Templin had a population of 86 people.[1]

History
The locatity was probably named by German settlers, William Gerner Zerner and Wilhelm F. Hohenhaus, both of whom came from Templin in Brandenburg, Prussia.[2]
Templin State School opened on 18 January 1892. It closed on 31 December 1974.[3]
In the 2016 census Templin had a population of 86 people.[1]

Attractions
The Templin Historical Village is located on the Boonah-Fassifern Road; the museum is operated by the Fassifern Historical Society.[5]
