Trigonopterus batukarensis

Trigonopterus batukarensis is a species of flightless weevil in the genus Trigonopterus from Indonesia.[1]

Etymology

The specific name is derived from that of the type locality.[1]

Description

Individuals measure 2.48–2.78 mm in length. General coloration is black with rust-colored legs and antennae.[1]

Range

The species is found around elevations of 835–1,310 metres (2,740–4,298 ft) on Mount Batukaru on the Indonesian island province of Bali.[1]

Phylogeny

T. batukarensis is part of the T. saltator species group.[1]
