The story is a remake of the 2018 Tamil language series Pandian Stores and mainly focuses on the unity of a joint family after the entry of new daughters-in-law, Shailu (Maheswari) and Siri (Priyanka).

Plot

Raghuram lives happily along with his brothers Bharath, Lakshman and Nani and his caring wife Seetha. They run a grocery store named Seetha Mahalakshmi provision stores which is famous in their locality. Seetha is often criticized by her relatives for not having children repeatedly, although her brother-in-laws did not let it affect her.

Seetha's uncle daughter Siri desires to marry Lakshman. Seetha's uncle convinces Lakshman to accept this marriage. However, Lakshman didn't like this idea of marriage as he is in love with collegemate Shailu. Later he conveys this to his sister-in-law Seetha. Seetha gets offended when she tries to talk about this to Siri's mother Parvathi. On the day of wedding Shailu ran off from her house and creates a scene in the marriage hall. Lakshman tells the family that he cannot marry Siri after seeing Shailu. The family was now in high tension due to this. Later, Seetha decides to get siri married to Bharath, the younger brother to Lakshman. Lakshman marries Shailu and Bharath marries Siri. Siri blames Seetha for ruining her life by getting her married to Bharath. But later she gets on well with her (Seetha) when her mother berates Seetha. Meanwhile, Shailu often picks up a fight with Lakshman as she wants a lavish lifestyle . On the other hand, Seetha and Raghuram try their best to unite Bharath and Siri who are at loggerheads. One day, due to some misunderstanding Janardanan ( Shailu's father) slaps Nani. This enrages the family and Janardanan stops sending goods to Raghuram provision. Due to this, the family faces crisis Raghuram resolves to sort the things out and goes out of the town handing over the responsibility to Lakshman. Janardanan plans to make the family suffer more by sending some fake clients to Raghuram provision to give a marriage order. Lakshman believes the fake clients and agrees for the order believing that Raghuram would definitely return with the goods. Bharath smells something fishy about the marriage order and conveys the same to Lakshman. But he convinces Bharath that Raghuram would return with the goods. Half-heartedly Bharath agrees. Raghuram returns and tells everyone that he couldn't get the goods much to Lakshman's horror. He asks Bharath and Lakshman to manage the situation with the remaining goods. But Lakshman reveals all those happened during his absence. Raghuram scolds Lakshman for being immature while Bharath takes upon himself to make the ends meet. Finally he is successful in getting the goods and Raghuram praises him which pleases Siri and irks Shailu. As time goes on, Bharath and Siri start to befriend each other and Shailu starts to adjust in the house. Shailu wishes to go for a honeymoon but ends up going with the whole family except Raghuram and his mother. During this time, Bharath and Siri grow closer. Meanwhile, Bharath, Siri, Shailu, Lakshman, Seetha and Nani return. After their return, Siri and Bharath share some special moments when Bharath starts to teach Siri to ride a vehicle. They both develop feelings for each other but are unable to confess. One day when Nani, Seetha, Shailu and Siri are talking , Nani asks Siri about her love for Bharath. She tells them that how they used to fight with each other in the beginning and how she acted as if she cares for him to avoid the petty arguments . Bharath hears this and gets hurt. Siri starts to express her love for Bharath to Seetha, Shailu and Nani. When Bharath returns home at night he picks up a fight with Siri. Disheartened, Siri leaves to her parents house. Siri misses Bharath while he feels that he is unfit for her.[2][3][4][5]
